I guess this 250 fender is not as bad as the oversized plastic around the headlight on the KLX 230. Its super lightweight. KLX300R's rear brake made it real easy to get silly with this bike without locking up the rear wheel and stalling the engine. But like the KLX300, it definitely benefits from some performance mods. I'd suggest (if you can) that you get yourself on an XT250, imho a much better road legal intermediate dual sport type bike with a much lower seat height than the KLX300. After a couple of rides, it starts to move slowly and even cause too much vibration due to things getting stuck to it.
